You’ll meet your guide at the Rotonde Square. Your guide will take you back to the wealthy past of this charming town. Aix has known 3 golden periods: it was a Roman colony, the capital of the County of Provence and a Royal Parliament. During this tour, you’ll see the baroque Mazarin Quarter and its elegant aristocratic mansions, the Cours Mirabeau lined up with plane trees famous for its cafés and restaurants. Then, you will visit the old town and its beautiful squares : Place d’Albertas, Place de l’Hôtel de Ville and the Cathedral built where the former roman forum was. Aix is also a town of Art thanks to Paul Cézanne.
