Very discreet, the Entremont Oppidum is hiding near the borders of the city of Aix-en-Provence. However, on the Puyricard plateau opposite the Sainte-Victoire mountain, this ancient 3.5 hectare town overlooks the entire Arc plain. Built in the second century BC, Entremont was built by the Salyens – a Gallic population – to resist the influence of the all-powerful Marseille.
It is with a guide-lecturer, moreover a trained archaeologist, that all the richness of this site will be fully revealed: The site and the archeology will no longer hold any secrets for you!
